"Faith Community Church is partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to help supply gift-filled shoe boxes for children around the world through their Operation Christmas Child Program.
Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind and because of the generosity of people they have collected and delivered more than 135 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 150 countries and territories.
“Most of the children who receive shoeboxes have never received any kind of present before,” said Franklin Graham, President of Samaritan’s Purse. “That child will never forget the gift or the message it conveyed about the love of Christ.”
Join in on this great opportunity to live generously by picking up a box and filling it with school supplies, hygiene items, notes of encouragement and fun toys, such as a doll or ball. Operation Christmas Child box pick up opens Saturday, October 29, 11am at Faith Community Church, 146 East Main Street, Hopkinton, MA.
