Over 300 Massachusetts State Police Officers biked across the state today. The event called "Ride to Remember" took place for the 4th year in a row to honor Police Officers killed in the line of duty. The 106 mile bike ride starts in Springfield and ends in Boston.

"The 106-mile Ride to Remember started as a tribute to Springfield police officer Kevin Ambrose, who was killed in the line of duty in 2012. Since then it has expanded to include other fallen officers in Western Massachusetts and around the state. Springfield police Sgt. John Delaney, the principle organizer for the annual ride, said this year's journey will pay tribute to Massachusetts State Trooper Thomas Clardy, who was killed March 16 when a speeding vehicle crashed into his stopped cruiser on Massachusetts Turnpike, and Auburn police officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. who was shot to death May 22 during a traffic stop."
