Video: Select Board Recognizes Scouts Receiving Honors

At Tuesdays Select Board meeting, proclamations were given to several Hopkinton Scouts who received accolades for their work in the community.

Girl Scouts, Emma Bograd and Mallory Peishoff of Troop #72233 recently received Girl Scout Gold Awards. Emma worked on a project to establish safety protocols and regulations for a dog park. Mallory Peishoff came up with a plan to better give access to all residents to Community music events.

Three Boy Scouts from Troop #4 recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Patrick Barnes and Jack Riley worked on building a soap box race car that would allow people with special needs to participate in racing events. Ethan Kramer built some fresh new picnic tables for the Michael Lisnow Respite Center.
