Hello Friends of Wake up and Smell the Poetry,
I am writing to let you know that I am deciding to cancel Saturday morning's program as the forecast has consistently indicated that the weather will be snow Friday night into Saturday.
I know there are quite a few people who would be travelling from afar and therefore do not want anyone to be driving out to this event in bad weather and potentially risky road conditions.
I am disappointed to cancel this program of guest features Jane Fallon, Susan Roney-O'Brien and Jan Krause Greene and the open mic participants but will make plans to reschedule this same line-up of features for the next season.
Our next program will take place in the new year on January 21st when guest features include storyteller/musician Ruth Canonico, poet Philip Robinson and singer-songwriters Junko Ogawa and Rick Goggin.
Stay tuned for details and hope to see you all soon in the new year.
