Watch Now: Start Line Brewing to Honor Marathon Pioneer Bobbi Gibb with Release of New Craft Beer

Start Line Brewery is releasing a new IPA which honors Marathon Pioneer, Bobbi Gibb. "Hopkinton-based Start Line Brewing Company today announced the release, on Thursday, April 8th, of its seasonal Marathoner IPA beer, which is dedicated this year to distance-running pioneer Bobbi Gibb. Roberta Louise ‘Bobbi’ Gibb was the first woman to run the Boston Marathon, in 1966, and was the recognized pre-sanctioned women’s winner in 1966, 1967 and 1968."

"Start Line Brews Marathoner IPA each Marathon season and donates the proceeds to the 26.2 Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to economic and educational development, whose plans include the development of an International Marathon Center (IMC) in Hopkinton."
