Hopkinton has received a formal Estimated Time to Recovery (ETR) from Eversource of 6pm on
Saturday March 10th for full restoration of power to all buildings in town. As of Friday 3/9 4pm,
Hopkinton is at approximately 18% of households without power which is an improvement from
10:20am this morning when 25% of Hopkinton was without power. While we expect additional
households to be restored this evening and prior to 6pm tomorrow, we continue to urge residents to
plan for the worst and assume that if you currently do not have power, you may continue to be without
power until tomorrow evening.

BE KIND. CHECK ON YOUR NEIGHBORS AND SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH THEM.
The Hopkinton Library is open to all residents until 8PM today where residents can charge a device,
check e-mail, grab some new books, or just sit in a nice warm place! Library has power for you to
charge a device, but please bring your specific power charger for your device.

The Hopkinton library will also be open regularly scheduled hours tomorrow, Saturday March 10th from
10AM – 4PM. They are hosting a “Hopkinton 101” event from 10AM – 2PM. This community fair style
event will feature various Town of Hopkinton departments, boards, and committees, as well as local
nonprofits. New and longtime residents can learn more about the services and resources available to
them and take the opportunity to socialize with each other and with the people and groups who serve
them.

Do call 911 for downed wires or emergencies. DO NOT call 911 for power outages. If your power is
out, you may contact Eversource here or by calling them at 1-800-592-2000
