Weather Trends in Hopkinton: July 4th through 10th 2022

According to the DPW weather station, the highest temperature reached in Hopkinton July 4th through July 10th was 87.0 degrees, the lowest was 50.5 degrees. Average temperature during the week in Hopkinton was 70.3 degrees. Humidity was at an average of 69%, the peak was 97% while the lowest was 28%. Rain accumulated 0.18 inches last week.

Select Board Votes to Hold Special Town Meeting on August 18th

The Hopkinton Select Board has called a Special Town Meeting to be held on Thursday, August
18, 2022. All articles or petitions proposed to be included in the special town meeting warrant
must be received at the Select Board/Town Manager’s office no later than 4:30 PM on
Wednesday, July 27, 2022. All articles and petitions must be submitted to: Select Board, Town
Hall, 18 Main Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748.

Crack Sealing to Begin on July 12th 2022

Crack Sealing work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday July 12 on the following streets. One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Work is expected to take approximately two weeks. All work is subject to change due to weather conditions. Please do not park any vehicles in the street as it will prevent the contractor from completing the work.

Ash St, Courney Cir, Fawn Ridge Rd, Fruit St, Glen Rd, Maria Ln, North St, Pleasant St, Saddle Hill Rd, Split Rock Rd, Spring St, Teresa Rd, Ursla Dr, Whirty Cir, Winter St & West Main St.

Community Notice: Trash Pickup for Friday, July 8th 2022

As a result of the construction activities on Main Street - EL Harvey will be picking up trash only (not recycling) on Friday, July 8th, at an earlier time then normal (as early as 5:30 or 6am) for the following roads;
