Harold D. Schmidt, 84, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Marion (Koss) Schmidt and Herbert D. Schmidt. He was the husband of 52 years to the late Carolyn (Prosser) Schmidt.

The Select Board recognized Kathy Laflash, who served on the Personnel Committee for 26 years. "The nomination for recognition was submitted by Bob Levenson, who noted that Kathy's guidance, counsel, and wisdom have helped the town successfully address numerous and complicated Human Resource-related challenges for two and 1/2 decades. Both town employees and the town's residents have benefited from her contributions."

Town of Hopkinton Invites Community to Ceremony Marking 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

American Legion Post 202 and Old Guard New England would like to invite the public
to a 9/11 Memorial Service in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11,
2001 terrorist attacks on the nation.

The Hopkinton Hillers got wins in the Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball season openers, Girls Soccer fell short in their opener and Golf hung on for a win versus Norwood!

-Hopkinton Starts off the season with a 2-0 win at home over Medfield.
Big afternoon for the 3 captains! Tora Ito records a Goal and Assist, Owen Schnur with an Assist and Andrew Gaughan with a goal. Keeper, Max Nye makes several big saves in the shutout win. Hopkinton (1-0-0) Medfield (0-1-0).

Janet Ellen Titus, 65, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island passed away at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket on Monday, September, 6, 2021. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Ingalls) and Clyde Rice. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Gregory Titus.
