Public Notice: Public Forum Regarding Downtown Corridor Project on 9/20/2017

A Public forum will be held on September 20, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at the Senior Center to update the public on the Downtown Corridor Project.

This Forum is intended to present a summary of the Downtown Project and to inform the public on the proposed changes the Project will make to Main Street from Wood Street to Ash Street.

Ron Rosenstock: New Photographs “Like a Color-Blind Bumblebee” September 10 – October 26 at HCA Gallery

The HCA Gallery proudly opens its third season with an exhibition of new work by Ron Rosenstock, whose photography of environments throughout the world has been exhibited widely in the United States and Europe for almost 50 years. The legendary photographer Minor White taught Rosenstock and selected his work for exhibition at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1968. In 2014 Rosenstock’s landscapes of Iceland were given a show at Iceland’s National Museum.

Job Posting: Substitute Reference Librarian

The Town of Hopkinton seeks 2 (two) Per Diem Substitute Reference Librarians for its Public Library.

This is a great opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic individual with a flexible schedule to provide public library reference service on an on-call or as-needed basis. This individual will also be added to our regular Saturday rotation for staffing the reference desk (7 hours every 3 - 5 weeks).

Under the direction of the Adult Services Librarian, this position will be a substitute librarian to cover the reference desk as needed.

The Town of Hopkinton seeks a full-time Adult Services Librarian for its Public Library to provide skilled professional work providing various types of support to library patrons and in the daily operations of the Library.

This position works one (1) evening per week and is added to the regular Saturday rotation for staffing the reference desk (7 hours every 3-5 weeks).
