Ashland Legion Baseball returns to HCAM and WACA TV for 4th season!

For the 4th season HCAM TV in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air taped broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games and a few road games! All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School. HCAM's Tom Nappi will provide play by play of the games, Larry Saklad will provide analysis during the broadcasts while WACA TV will work the camera.

HCAM-ED airs on Comcast channel 96 and on Verizon channel 31. HCAM-TV is Hopkinton's Public and Governmental channel airing on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 30.

Veterans Flag Day Dinner June 14th.

Our Hopkinton Veterans of all ages will be honored with a dinner, funded by Bay Path Elder Services, on Wednesday, June 14 at 5:30 pm at the Hopkinton Senior Center.. TJ’s Spirits will be catering. Menu includes steak tips, chicken stir fry, penne pasta, rice, salad, desserts and all the trimmings. Transportation is available if needed. Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival Raises Over $20,000 for the Renovation and Expansion of Hopkinton Public Library

Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival raised over $20,000 for the restoration, renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library, due to open its doors this fall. The event hosted 3000 kids and adults on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Hopkinton High School.

Hopkinton High School should be proud as all Hillers spring teams qualified for a postseason spot. View the playoff results for Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Lacrosse below. Baseball and Softball are left standing and will both play home games Wednesday (June 7th).

Video: Hopkinton Senior Center Annual Art Show 2017

As part of their annual Art Show, on display at the Hopkinton Senior Center is work from some of there available art classes. The work on display includes pottery, quilting, paintings and drawings. The display can be seen in the lobby and also heading down the hallway to the left of the lobby. The senior center also has various works of art for sale as well as other items made by local residents.

According to the DPW weather station, the highest temperature reached in Hopkinton last week was 78.8 degrees, the lowest was 42.9 degrees. Average temperature during the week in Hopkinton was 59.1 degrees. Humidity was at an average of 77.1%, the peak was 97% while the lowest was 33%. Wind Speed averaged 1.1 MPH, while reaching a high of 6 MPH. Precipitation accumulated 0.35 inches last week in Hopkinton. Chamber of Commerce State of the Town June 14th 7:30am

The event will feature presentations by Chamber President, Scott Richardson, Town Manager, Norman Khumalo, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Cathy MacLeod and the Board of Selectmen. Troop 1 Boy Scout Pasta Dinner & Silent Auction Friday June 16th

Please join Boy Scout Troop 1 for our annual Pasta and Meatball Dinner and Silent Auction fundraising event on Friday, June 16 from 5:00-8:00pm at Faith Community Church, 146 E Main St, Hopkinton. The meal will be prepared and served by Hopkinton Boy Scout Troop 1 and families. It includes salad, bread, coffee, and dessert. This will be a festive community event as we celebrate the start of summer! This is a fundraiser to help fund a High Adventure/Leadership Trip to BSA Philmont Scout Ranch for July 2018. Tickets are $10/person or $5/Children under 10!
