Video: Hillers Sports Update 1-31-2017

-On Tuesday January 24th. Hillers Girls basketball took on Dover-Sherborn with a chance to get their 10th win and officially seal up a playoff spot. The Hillers Girls had no problem accomplishing that mission as they took the game 57-17. In the victory, Senior Mikayla Pucci had 12 points and 8 rebounds while Senior Julia Canestrari dropped 11 points.

Scott C. Martineau, 45

Scott C. Martineau passed away on January 22, 2017, in Hopkinton, Massachusetts after a long struggle with Wilson’s Disease that caused copper poisoning in his liver, brain and other organs. He is survived by his parents, James P. and Arlene (Dunne) Martineau of Fort Mill, SC, sister Elizabeth Martineau Bascio, her husband James Bascio, niece Jessica Bascio, and nephews Jared and Jonah Bascio of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins (especially Christine Dunne who always gave him extra support and encouragement).

On this edition of HCAM news, we have the latest Hillers sports highlights, the Hopkinton Center for the Arts hosted a song circle to honor Martin Luther King J.r., and on Martin Luther King Monday, a great turnout was on hand at Hopkinton Middle School for a number of activities helping charitable causes and local organizations, but first Hopkinton High School teacher and Hillers Varsity Lacrosse coach, Dan Norton spoke about the benefits of volunteering.
