17th Annual Turkey Drive

This year the Turkey Drive is making it their goal is to provide meals for approximately 250 local families and they need your donations!

You can deliver donations to the following locations:
Monday November 16th
7-730am Middle School
2-300pm Middle School
330-5pm Elmwood School
3-4pm Hopkins School

Tuesday November 17th
7-730am Middle School
2-230pm High School
330-5pm Elmwood School
3-4pm Hopkins School

Hopkinton Police Station will be a Drop-off Location for Toys for Tots

The Hopkinton Police Department is proud to announce that again this year we are partnering with the United States Marine Corps to be designated as a Toys for Tots drop-off location.

We ask any residents or businesses that can donate this year to please drop off an unwrapped toy in the collection box at the police station, 74 Main Street.

We thank you for your generous support and wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.

Button Cell Battery Collection

Bring your button cell batteries to the Hopkinton Senior Center to be recycled. The Senior Center is located at 28 Mayhew Street. Collection will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:30 AM-2:00 PM.

All proceeds to benefit the Friends of Hopkinton Seniors, Inc.

Woodville History Day

Woodville History Day is back by popular demand! Join the residents of Woodville and be a part of their community at the Woodville Rod & Gun Club on Sunday, November 15 from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Join the residents to explore this wonderful and comprehensive collection of historic artifacts. Thanks to the efforts of The Friends of Whitehall, you will gain a new appreciation for the wonderful and interesting history of Woodville. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Kick off the Holidays at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is kicking off the holiday season Dec. 4 through 6 with festive events sure to please all ages.

• Holiday Boutique Exhibit & Sale: Friday, Dec. 4 from 3–7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. –5 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6 from noon–3 p.m. on the second floor of the barn. Free admission.

• A Charlie Brown Christmas: Presented by Enter Stage Left Theater. Performances Saturday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. in The Delbridge Family Performance Space. $5 general admission.

Chester L. Costa Sr., 66

Chester L. Costa Sr., 66, of Hopkinton, passed away November 9. 2015. Born in Athol, he was the son of the late Doris and John Costa. He was the husband of 8 years to Susan E. (Murphy) Costa of Hopkinton.

Chester was one of eight children. He was truck driver and a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and being with his dog, Abby.

Golden Pond Assisted Living Employment Fair

Join the Golden Pond team! Golden Pond is looking for passionate, dedicated and dependable employees to work in their Assisted Living Community in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. They will be performing immediate interviews for CNA/HHA and Housekeeping positions at their Employment Fair on Saturday, November 21 from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton. All potential employees should bring their resume, social security card and photo identification. For the safety of the residents, Cori background checks will be performed.

Hiller Cheer TVL 5peat

Congratulations to the Hopkinton Hiller Varsity Cheerleaders for winning their 5th consecutive Tri Valley League Championship against Ashland, Bellingham, Holliston, Medway, Norton and Medfield on Oct 29th, which was hosted by Hopkinton. The team won the title of Grand Champion of the Invitational for having the highest score of all 15 team that competed.

Sunday afternoon, the Hopkinton Varsity Cheerleaders will be competing at the South Regional Championship at Whitman Hanson. Let’s show our support by cheering them on! Go Hillers!
