Absolutely Yoga is a new
addition to the HCAM lineup that brings yoga classes to
you in the comfort of your home and at your convenience on the
web! Every show will feature a 50 minute all-levels yoga class
complete with a guided relaxation (savasana) at the end. Each episode will be hosted by a certified
yoga instructor from the staff at
Absolute Yoga studio in Hopkinton. You’ll enjoy a different
theme with every show—from “Building Core Strength” to
“Hip Openers for Stress Reduction”—and the variety of the
classes will challenge you as well as nurture your mind, body and
spirit. Every yoga class on ABSOLUTELY YOGA will invite you to
increase your strength and flexibility, encourage deeper
breathing, and promote mindfulness that will carry you through
your day. We’ll close each show with an educational segment that
may cover anything from speaking of the benefits of a regular yoga
practice to a practical aspect of yoga philosophy that you may
find interesting.

Each class on Absolutely Yoga is
taught with an “all-levels” approach and is suitable for newer
as well as experienced yoga students who are in good health. In
addition to the yoga instructor, each show will include two
students for visual guidance as well as verbal instruction. One
student will demonstrate modifications for viewer participants who
are building their strength and endurance or who simply need an
alternate pose option. Some prior yoga experience is helpful for
getting the most comfort, safety and benefit from the show.
Absolutely Yoga is brought to
you by the Absolute Yoga studio. Absolute Yoga features a program of Yoga and

Show Instructors:
Jaime Brault has completed numerous Yogafit Teacher Trainings, including Prenatal and Senior Yoga. She continues her education and training through Yogafit and other yoga conferences and workshops. In her classes, Jaime focuses on the yoga behind the poses such as the breath and mind/body connection. Her personal yoga practice has inspired many aspects of her life from her health and fitness to her parenting and relationships. Since she began her teacher training, sharing her passion for yoga has become a passion in itself. Jaime lives in North Grafton with her husband and 3 year old son.
Ellen
Dougherty, R.Y.T. is a certified yoga instructor through FRA (Fitness Resource Associates, Inc.) where she studied under Judy Baker. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (R.Y.T.) through Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and instructing students at Absolute Yoga since 2003. She incorporates her years of practice into a blend of teaching styles for her students. Ellen teaches a vinyasa-flow yoga that incorporates Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Viniyoga. Her goal is to teach students at all levels to reduce stress, while improving strength, flexibility and balance. She currently teaches in Hopkinton, Westborough, and Southborough. She also volunteered as a yoga instructor at Hopkinton’s Serenity House. Ellen is a mother of two and previously worked as a systems analyst.
Kristine Maselli, R.Y.T. (Owner) founded
Absolute Yoga in 2001 to pursue her passion in bringing wellness
and yoga to others. She has built and evolved the studio into an
environment where students of all fitness and experience levels
feel comfortable developing their yoga practice. Kristine excels
at introducing yoga to new students as well as assisting current
students to deepen their practice and take it to the next level.
Kristine is a Registered Yoga Teacher (R.Y.T.) through Yoga
Alliance, is a member of Mass Yoga, and holds the AFAA Group
Fitness and Personal Trainer Certifications, and PhysicalMind's
Pilates Mat and YogaFit Level One's designations.
