Friends Forever is a new series for HCAM's youngest viewers. Combining song, storytelling and puppetry, Cheryl Melody creates a warm, inviting, and nurturing space for young children to learn about feelings, self-confidence and worth.

Cheryl Melody is a national performing artist, Parent’s Choice Award Winner, national keynote speaker, commissioned composer, author, playwright, educator, and creator and co-producer of the HCAM cable show, “Friends Forever.”

“It is pure joy to have created the “Friends Forever” show for the viewers, and to have co-produced this show with Jim Cozzens. My hope is that my role modeling of these musical seeds, as a result of over 25 years of performing, creating and teaching, will encourage EVERYONE, no matter what age or skills…. to make music joyfully, without worries of right, wrong and perfection…and to make music each and every day! It’s an opportunity for the children AND for the child within each adult!”

Cheryl Melody’s concerts for early childhood (ages birth to 6 years) include “The Musical Imagination Adventure Concert,” “Friends Forever Concerts” “Once Upon a Time” Concerts, “Peace Pals” Concerts and “Peace Begins with Me” Concerts. She includes singing, creative movement, storytelling, story reading, poetry, imagination, dramatic play, puppets, eye catching visuals, parades, lullabies, multicultural music…and above all, words that reinforce character building values to help the child grow in body, mind and spirit.

In addition to her work with children, Melody also loves to share her original and interactive songs for adults, and has been a featured artist for the CAA and the Women’s Artist Forum, sharing her sound healing approaches and interactive heart opening songs.
