The Family Fun Day and Children's' Gallery, an HPTA sponsored event, was held March 24th in a new location. In years past the fundraiser has been housed at the High School, but this year Hopkins School was the place to be.
The event promised to be fun for the whole family, and it certainly did not disappoint. There were many activities for the kids, including arts and crafts, a clown, a bounce castle, an appearance by Center School mascot Cubby, and plenty of refreshments. The highlight of the afternoon, were the numerous raffles, which consisted of a variety of themed basket giveaways.
The majority of this year's basket donations were purchased through Amazon wish lists that were created by event organizers Erin Graziano and Kristy Willadsen. Several families donated gift cards that were combined to pay for the big ticket item in each of the baskets including, the iPad in the iFun basket and the McKenna doll in the American Girl basket.
