Watch the HCAM News video as Hopkinton resident Vicki Lary encourages residents participate in the upcoming Run Around Hopkinton Marathon Relay.

The Run Around Hopkinton Marathon Relay is a competitive race covering 26.2 miles, starting and ending at Hopkinton High School. The course traverses some of the town's most notable running spots, from the marathon start line to scenic Hopkinton State Park and many of the town's quiet wooded roads and trails.

The race is dedicated to promoting the critical role fitness plays in overall and mental well being and is dedicated to the memory of Tyler Jay Lary, a Hopkinton teen who tragically took his own life in 2006.

This year marks the 3rd annual race and organizers are busy recruiting team members. On-line registration is available until Friday September 30, and race day is Sunday, October 2, starting at 9AM. Runners at all levels are welcome to participate.
