Fuel Assistance Applications Being Accepted

Applications are now being accepted for fuel assistance. Sponsored by the South Middlesex Opportunity Center (SMOC), eligible households in over 37 communities receive assistance paid directly to their heating vendor. The program is designed to help low-income people afford the cost of heat in the winter months.

In Hopkinton, the fuel assistance program is administered by the Outreach Coordinators at the Senior Center, although the program is open to all residents and not just seniors. Eligibility is determined based on gross annual income and family size.
