In the spirit of capturing the childhood nostalgia associated with Halloween, members of the Hopkinton Senior Center's choral group, The Mellowtones, entertained a crowd of about 15 on October 30th by performing Halloween songs, some of which Choral Director Marilyn Greeno had learned as a child.
The highlight of the performance came at the finale when Greeno and another member of the group dressed in costume for a spirited duet.
The group, who was performing their Halloween set for the first time at the Senior Center, boasts members from not just Hopkinton, but from other surrounding communities as well. They often perform at area senior centers and nursing homes and are always looking for new members. The group rehearses on Wednesdays at 12:30 at the Senior Center.
