Ashland Legion Post 77 who was eliminated from the playoffs the night of Tuesday July 22nd, did have quite the memorable season. On Tuesday July 15th, they played a memorable game against Lowell in which the go-ahead run was scored in the bottom of the 6th after a miscue between the third baseman and pitcher covering home plate during a pickle allowed Steve Mahoney to score the 3rd and final run of the game. Ashland closed it out to get the 3-2 victory.
Milford Post 59 which features 2 Hillers, (Matt Decina and Andrew McMillan) will be going to the state tournament. At the mid-way point Milford was 7 and 7, then went on a 10 game winning streak to close out the regular season at the 1 seed.
