A Hop, Skip and A Jump Down Memory Lane

By Michelle Murdock, Freelance Writer

Talk a walk down memory lane with long time Hopkinton resident Paul Annunziata. The HCAM produced movie "A Hop, Skip and a Jump Down Memory Lane", starring Annunziata and Adult Services Librarian Susan Marshall will be back for a second showing at the Senior Center on Thursday, June 9th at 1PM.

The short film is all about growing up in downtown Hopkinton during the 1950s and 60s and recalls Paul's days as a child on Main Street.

"I'll talk about the businesses and what I can remember and the people and growing up as a child on Main Street in Hopkinton and share this," says Annunziata. "Because it had some historic value, and not only that, it's very enjoyable. I had a great childhood, a great mother, father, brother. Not everything is a bed of roses, but it was a great time in my life and I wanted to share these stories with someone."

Over thirty people attended the premiere showing at the library last month and gave it rave reviews.

"It brought back a lot of memories and a lot of good times that have been truly missed and he did a great job," said one movie goer.

"Good old downtown Hopkinton," said another.

So, mark your calendars; June 9th at 1PM at the Hopkinton Senior Center. Get there early for a good seat and talk a walk down memory lane in Hopkinton.
