The entire Middle School student body recently participated in a student-wide lip dub, where students took turns lip-syncing to Lady Gaga's "Born this Way". The video, produced by HCAM Station Manager Jim Cozzens, was filmed in February after several months of planning.
But the final product wasn't revealed until an assembly on April 9th. And to the shock of the students, the lip dub was only just a portion of the video. The big surprise came at the end when it was revealed that the faculty had also filmed their own dance to the "Cupid Shuffle".
The lip dub was more than just a way to get the whole school to come together and have fun, as the reason behind both the video and the song choice was to illustrate the concept of acceptance.
