Neece's Paintings On Display

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

Hopkinton artist Dustin Neece was the toast of the town. Neece was on hand at a special ceremony at the Westborough Shopping Center May 31, 2012, alongside several Hopkinton residents, to exhibit and celebrate his work, as well as those who have supported him.

The ceremony was planned by Ed Turner, owner of the Art and Frame Emporium, one of the stores in the shopping center. Turner, who's store moved into the Westborough location nine months ago, noticed that the mall had several vacancies and wanted to do something unique to help spruce it up and revitalize it.

Neece first met Turner when he went into Turner's store to get a piece framed. The two soon bonded over their RISD alum statuses. And Turner thought that Neece's talent, artwork, and fan base would lend itself perfectly to his idea of displaying artwork in vacant storefronts.
