Parks & Recreation Hosts Annual Halloween Party

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

The Center School gym was festively decorated and ready for Halloween a few days early this year for the 16th annual Parks and Recreation Halloween Party on October 23. The party gave Hopkinton's youngsters a chance to dress up in character and have some fun. From bats to bumblebees, pirates to princesses, the kids got really into the spirit of the holiday. At the party, there were many games and activities setup for the kids to play such ring toss, guessing how many candy corns there were in the jar, ball toss, and ghost making. And the prize for winning was of course candy.

The event was organized by Parks and Recreation and the Hopkinton Youth Commission and members of the 8th grade Girls Soccer team ran all of the activities.
