Participation Urged at Student Government Breakfast

Once again this year, juniors at Hopkinton High who participated in the Local Government Project ended their study of how local government works with the Student Government Breakfast. While the Government Project allows students to learn first hand how local government works by attending meetings, the breakfast allows them to mingle with local, state and federal officials to talk about what they learned.

Each year, students listen to several speakers and this year Congressman Jim McGovern, Senator Karen Spilka and Representative Carolyn Dykema were on hand to offer advice.
