Polyarts and Apple Crisp on Saturday

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

Saturday September 15th is the annual Polyarts Festival. The festival began in 1974 as a way for local artists to show off their talents to the community. The daylong event features live music, crafts, and a longstanding Hopkinton tradition, the apple crisp made by the Friends of the Library.

The friends will be making the crisp the day before the festival at St. Paul's Episcopal Church starting at 8:30am and encourage all members of the community to help out with the process. Especially considering how many servings they plan on selling.

All the money from the sale helps to support the library.

In addition to the 74 artisans from the area that will be selling their work at Polyarts, for the first time there will also be students selling their own creations.
