Relay for Life Fashion Show and Silent Auction

By Michelle Murdock, Freelance Writer

The month of May means Relay for Life, not only in Hopkinton, but throughout many of our surrounding towns. I'd like to you meet a Natick dance instructor, owner of Cinderella Contessa's Slippers, Inc., who will be donating six weeks of her time during the silent auction portion of a Relay for Life Fashion Show to be held at the Crowne Plaza, 1360 Worcester Road, Natick MA Friday, May 6th at 6PM.

Born Dawn Vivo Amore, Aurora de Petris-Fraggianni has been dancing since she was two and one-half years old. In 1982, she earned the title of Miss Leominster in the Miss Massachusetts Teen USA and the Miss Cinderella Girl overall Massachusetts winner. Not only a winner of pageants, Aurora is a past judge for Miss Massachusetts, Miss New York and Miss New Hampshire USA for Donald Trump's national pageants.

In 1997, after researching her family history, Dawn officially changed her name and is now known as Contessa Aurora de Petris-Fraggianni, or "The Cinderella Contessa". According to Aurora, she is a direct descendant of an Italian Count and a member of an Italian royal family who ruled central southern Italy for years.

As part of her participation in Relay for Life, Aurora is offering six weeks of classes which can be used for ballet or tap lessons or for modeling. The Silent Auction is part of the 6th Annual Relay for Life Fashion Show.

Tickets are $50 each and include dinner and the silent auction. Reserve seating is available for tables of 12, otherwise seats are individidual.
