Upcoming Library Events

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

As fall gears up, so are the events that will going on at the library for patrons of all ages. For teenagers and adults, author Rob Taylor, whose book, "The Breach: Kilimanjaro and the Conquest of Self" chronicles his journey climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, will be speaking this Tuesday night at 7pm. The book is currently available at the library, and was a recent topic of conversation at the library's history book club, which meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

4th and 5th graders, as well as middle schoolers, are encouraged to join the library's book club. The first meeting is October 3rd for 4th and 5th graders and October 10th for middle schoolers. Both meetings will discuss books that the kids read over the summer and would recommend to others.

And for infants, Cheryl White of Baby Kneads will be at the library on October 4th at 10:30am to teach sign language through song and story.

For more information about any upcoming library programs, visit the library's website.
