Some of the staff of Golden Pond went down to the Fire Department and served up some lunch to thank them for their service. Chef Chris Reid cooked up some delicious food to thank the Fire Department for all the help they have given Golden Pond.
Executive Director Dr. Barry Zeltzer, Chef Chris Reid, Jen Belesi and Kris Leardi made the surprise visit. Leardi expressed gratitude for the help the Hopkinton Fire Department has provided to Golden Pond throughout the years; "we are really here to thank the Fire Department which has always been so helpful to Golden Pond. We have a lot of residents, over 180 residents and they are always in our building and we appreciate their service to us so we are making a lunch for them."
Chef Reid cooked up: Grilled Chicken with herbed cheese on ciabatta bread with lettuce, tomato and bacon as well as apple crisp with whip cream.
..... and now I'm hungry.
