Whenever the Ashland Clockers and Hopkinton Hillers meet up in just about any sport, it always seems to be an amazing game. On Monday April 25th it was no different, a great battle between 2 very good teams. The Hillers ended up taking the game 6-5 but it was due to some late offense that helped Hopkinton get their 2nd win of the season and hand Ashland their 1st loss.
Hillers plated 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd, Ashland struck back in the top of the 4th with 3 of their own. Ashland claimed the 5-4 lead in the top of the 6th as Michael Crupi hit a 2 run double to score Shamus Reardon and Ronan Bates. The Hillers would not go down quietly however, In-fact, they would not go down at all as DH, Drew Simi tied up the game with a sacrifice fly out and then Catcher, Alex Reynolds gave the Hillers the 6-5 lead with a single. Hopkinton never looked back as they took the victory. View the highlights of the great game below.
