Video: Hopkinton Fire Department Hosted Open House

In coordination with Fire prevention month, the Hopkinton Fire Department hosted an open house. The event is to raise awareness for Fire Safety and share information about what the Fire Department does and how you can stay safe. This month Fire Departments throughout the country are emphasizing that you check batteries in your smoke alarms and plan and practice a home fire escape route with your family. Also be sure to check your Carbon Monoxide alarms as we near winter. Some symptoms of Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning include: headache, nausea, dizziness, confusion and fainting.

At the event Bill Krauss talked to HCAM news about some of the different activities taking place, Tim Healy showed off some of the latest medical equipment in use and Sparky the Fire Dog got the Kids Dancing.. Check out the video below!
