The Ashland Clockers defeated the Hopkinton Hillers 3-1 in a great pitching matchup between Luke Gustavson and Evan Park. The Hillers struck first in the top of the 1st inning; Jack Vaccari hit a Triple followed by a Matt Decina RBI Single. Ashland plated all 3 of their runs in the bottom of the 3rd. Shane Leary and Miles Dassoni started off the inning with a pair of singles, with 1 out Mitch Porter hit an RBI single to drive in Leary, Miles Dassoni came around on a misfire by third basemen Jack Vacarri and Porter came around on an RBI Triple by Filip Cooper to deep left field.
WP - Luke Gastavon went the complete game giving up 7 hits, 1 run and struck out 2.
LP - Evan Park went 4 innings giving up 4 hits and 3 runs (2 ER) and struck out 6.
