Video: Hopkinton Hillers VS Ashland Clockers Thanksgiving Football 2015 Highlights

View highlights from the exciting Hillers 35-33 Thanksgiving Victory over Ashland below.

The Hillers won the 92nd Thanksgiving meeting with the Ashland Clockers to finish the season 6 and 5 overall. In the annual game the Hillers lead the rivalry with 50 wins, 37 losses and 5 ties.

1st quarter: Colin Hanrahan gets things started for Ashland as he takes the handoff from about the 25 yard line and plummets a head for the score. Extra point was good making it 7-0 Ashland.

Hillers threaten to even out the score as Sam Lehman rushes from the 15 and gets inside the 5. After being pushed back by a couple penalties, Sam Lehman finds the end zone to make it 7-6. A 2 point conversion run by Jake Kelleher would put the Hillers on top 8-7.

2nd quarter, Colin Hanrahan responds, slipping through tackles and forces himself ahead for 13 yards and to make it 13 points for Ashland. Extra point was good making it 14-8 Ashland.

Jake Kelleher responded firing a 53 yard bomb to Jack Vaccari to tie up the game. Hillers kick the extra point and lead 15-14.

Ashland wasnt going away though, later in the 2nd quarter Mitch Porter connects with Max Feinberg to move Ashland up to the 27. Then a few plays later, Porter with the fake and finds Shamus Reardon in the end zone. Extra point was good putting the Clockers up 21-15.

Ashland would get the ball back once again in the 2nd quarter and Mitch Porter finds Joe Schelling for a 25 yard reception and then Colin Hanrahan finds the end zone for his 3rd time and makes it 28-15 Clockers after the extra point.

Jake Kelleher responds as he finds Jack Vaccari for the 2nd time in the end zone for the 25 yard touchdown pass, the extra point puts the Hillers within 6. It was 28-22 Clockers leading at the half.

3rd quarter, Jake Kelleher contiues his roll and launches a 37 yard touchdown pass right into the arms of Will Abbott.. The Hillers get the extra point and take a 29-28 lead.

Later in the 3rd quarter, Joe Kerkach returned the lead to the Clockers as he buried a 27 yard field goal to make it a 31-29 game.

About 3 minutes left to go in the game, The Hillers positioned at the Clockers 23, Jake Kelleher fires down the left side of the field and right over a defender to Will Abbott who takes it all the way into the end zone and puts the Hillers up 35-31.

Hillers later in the 4th took an intentional safety to set up the kick off. The Clockers could not convert on their final drive and the Hillers take a wild thanksgiving showdown 35-33.
