At the March 8th Board of Selectmen Meeting, Hopkinton Police welcomed two new officers to the department. Brian Sanchioni, a 2011 graduate of Milford High School and 2015 graduate of Worcester State University. Sanchioni paid his own way through the police academy and graduated last February. "He's certainly shown dedication and the ambition to become a police officer" said Chief Edward Lee.
Alex Cruzvergara moved from Falls Church, Virginia. He served as an officer in Falls Church for 5 years, in that time he served as a field training officer, general instructor and with the swat team and honor guard. He won several awards for OUI prevention and enforcement.
