Video: Hopkinton Signs Community Compact Agreement

By Tom Nappi, News Director

Lieutenant Governor, Karyn Polito met with Hopkinton town officials to finalize a "Community Compact Agreement" with the town. The agreement was put in place by the Baker-Polito administration and more than half of the communities in the state applied to become a compact community.

The compact agreement will help the town accomplish a number of various goals, such as promoting local agriculture and preparing a master plan for a recently acquired 32 acre plot of land at Pratt Farm. The agreement will also allow the town to apply for various state grants.
