Video: Keep Smilin' 4 Abbie hosts "A Day at the Derby"

The Keep Smilin 4 Abbie Fund hosted "A Day at the Derby" on the day of the Kentucky Derby. The event featured derby squares, raffles, a silent auction and more. The event raised around $30,000 in the fight against Anaphylaxis.

Steven Benford, father of Abbie Benford who passed away from an anaphylactic reaction at the age of 15 announced that $25,021 will be a gift commitment to the Wyss institute to fund "Project Abbie", a project to develop an anaphylaxis auto-detection and therapeutic device.
