Video: Local Book Author, Paul Clerici talks Boston Marathon

"Paul C. Clerici is the local author of three books - “A History of the Falmouth Road Race: Running Cape Cod,” “Boston Marathon: History by the Mile,” and “History of the Greater Boston Track Club.” A freelance journalist, writer, photographer, and former newspaper editor and sports editor who has been recognized in the “Who’s Who in the East” publication, he has written for and been published in many newspapers and magazines, including “Boston College Chronicle,” “Level Renner,” “Marathon & Beyond,” “New England Patriots Weekly,” “New England Runner,” “Running Times,” and “The Walpole Times.” A New England Press Association and Massachusetts Press Association award winner, he is the race director of the “Camy 5K Run & David 5K Walk” in Walpole and has competed in nearly every distance from the mile to the marathon, including two triathlons, 43 marathons (the Boston Marathon 23 years in a row), the Falmouth Road Race several times, and in races has won several age-group and Clydesdale division awards."

Paul has 2 presentations coming up in the Hopkinton area. On March 30th, Paul will be presenting at the Hopkinton Senior Center at 7pm to talk about his popular book, “Boston Marathon: History by the Mile.” Paul will also be presenting to the Hopkinton and Ashland Historical Society at the Hopkinton Historical Society Sunday April 17th.
