Video: Question of the Week: How Many Games Should Tom Brady be Suspended?

By Tom Nappi, News Director

HCAM News has started a "Question of the Week" segment, in which we ask people around town their opinion on various topics.

The first topic evolves around perhaps the biggest sports topic for the last several months in New England. Back in the AFC championship game on January 18th the New England Patriots were accused by the Indianapolis Colts of deflating footballs prior to the 45-7 Patriots victory. The NFL investigated the Patriots after the accusations and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell upheld the initial ruling of a 4 game suspension for Tom Brady. The suspension was given by commissioner Goodell a couple months after the incident based on a report by investigator Ted Wells.

Currently the issue has been taken in-front of a federal judge. Right now it seems like the favor of Federal Judge Richard M. Berman is leaning in favor of Brady due to insufficient evidence.

Yahoo.com Report: "Berman said, via Leyden, "What is evidence of scheme or conspiracy that covers the January 18 game? I'm having trouble with that." Berman also asked, "Is there any direct evidence linking Mr. Brady to tampering?" Then Berman said, "I’m trying to figure out what is the direct evidence that implicates Mr. Brady in that deflation … in that bathroom…on Jan. 18." See more of the yahoo report here.

In light of what seems like the never-ending deflated footballs controversy we asked people in the community how many games they think Patriots quarterback Tom Brady should be suspended for. See what happened in the video below.
