By Tom Nappi, News Director

A couple weeks ago, HCAM welcomed a new cooking show to the program schedule called "The Golden Pan". The show which takes place at Golden Pond Assisted Living recently filmed their 3rd episode. Host Reno Baci started cooking in his childhood; "I come from an old Italian family and my Dad was one of these kinds of guys that when we came home from church he would point at you and say you make bread, you make pasta, you make sauce." Baci said one of his favorite foods to make is pasta; "I never found anybody that doesn't like it." Baci mentioned he typically makes the pasta and his wife Alma makes the sauces "my wife makes the best marinara sauce in New England."

Reno is assisted on the show by Golden Pond's "Director of Community Relations" Jennifer Belesi, Golden Pond's "Director of Social Life" Lisa Mancuso as well as his wife Alma.

Reno Baci is a Military Veteran and served as the longtime "Parks Commissioner" for the Town of Milford. Baci played a large role in building and renovating Milford parks for 51 years, including being the key initiator behind the heavily used "Plains Park" in Milford. In addition to renovating parks and cooking up delicious Italian cuisine, Baci is also known for building hundreds of birdhouses which were on display in Milford and highlighted by the Milford Daily News in 2013.
