The Parks and Recreation Commission with the help of the Fire Department, DPW and many other organizations brought back Ice Skating to Hopkinton. A professionally installed public Ice rink was put in place at the Hopkinton High School outdoor basketball courts. Chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission Bob Dobinski explained. "Almost 30 years ago they used to flood the basketball courts and have an ice rink but for whatever reason they stopped doing it." "We had the rink professionally installed and the materials we will be able to use year to year."
