Video Segment: Hillers Cheerleaders Host Pasta Dinner

By Tom Nappi, News Director

The Hopkinton Hillers Cheerleaders hosted a pasta dinner at the Woodville Rod & Gun Club to help raise funding for their team. The funding will cover various competition trips and equipment. It has been a good year for the Hillers Cheerleaders and they are excited for what's to come. Head Coach Melissa Zwang talked about what the funding will go towards: "The proceeds go to Friends of Hopkinton Cheerleading to support all the financial needs of the program like uniforms, gymnastics, mats and any travel trips we go on."

I asked the cheer team about their favorite memory from winning national last year. Alex Balerna enjoyed the airplane trips, Brooke Bellar liked winning, Michelle Horrigan liked getting onto the mat and having a perfect routine, Emily Sheridan liked wearing the red jackets after they won.
