New Hopkinton Police officer John Corridan was welcomed at the Board of Selectmen meeting. Chief Lee talked about Corridan's past with the Longmeadow P.D. and before that Corridan's service as a dispatcher in Hopkinton. "He did an awesome job while he was here but moved on to pursue a law enforcement career and he went to the Longmeadow P.D. for approximately 2 years. We heard nothing but good things up there, thorough background and while they were sad to see him go, we reap the benefits of a fine young officer."
Officer Corridan talked about his past and commented on what brought him back to Hopkinton; "When the opportunity came up to come back here, I guess I didn't realize how much I would miss this area." "I'm excited to get back and work with all the men and women at the Police Department I got to know for 2 years and just refamiliarize with the town and the town's people."
