In this years Hopkinton annual Town Election, there were two contested races. One of the contested races were 3 candidates running for 2 open 3-year seats for Select Board. The final tally in the Select Board race was; Matthew T. Kizner – 805, Shahidul Hasan Mannan – 744 & Jeffrey Doyle – 703. Matthew Kizner & Shahidul Mannan won the 2 open seats for Select Board.
The other contested race was for a 3-year seat on Board of Assessors and the final tally was Peter Mark Mimmo – 747, Frederick Mayer – 416. Peter Mimmo won the spot on Board of Assessors.
