On February 27 the Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee held its annual caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention on May 29 to 30 at the DCU Center in Worcester.
The caucus was contested and Hopkinton will send a full delegation. Delegates include Elise Benson, Eric Benson, William Horsman, Sravana Krishna, Kyla McSweeney, Peter Mimmo, Amy Ritterbusch, Asima Silva, Beth Watson, and Jason Watson. Alternates include Julius Andrew Billeter, Simone Carter, Parker Happ, and Mary Jo Ondrechen. Amy Groves and Mary Jo LaFreniere will participate as ex officio delegates.
Registered or pre-registered Hopkinton Democrats who are members of certain underrepresented groups may still apply to be add-on delegates with full voting privileges at the convention. The categories include disabled, underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, veteran, youth (16 to 35 years old), and LGBTQ+. Add-on applications are available at
