Hopkinton Hillers Boys Hockey moves on to Elite 8 of 2022-2023 D2 MIAA State Tournament!

The Hillers claimed the 8th seed in the D2 State Playoffs. The run started off with a 9-0 win over #25 seeded North Attleborough on Wednesday, March 1st and was followed up with a 6-3 win over #24 seeded Westwood on Sunday March 5th.

Round of 32: #8 Hopkinton defeats #25 North Attleborough 9 to 0 in D2 Playoffs
Hopkinton took the win in the round of 32 and improved to 17-4-0, North Attleborough ends season 9-8-4. For the Hillers, Charlie Purpura, Joe Carrazza and Pavit Mehra each had 2 goals. Declan Durocher, Drew Morse and James Hayward also contributed a goal each in the dominant win. Hopkinton moves on to the Sweet 16 to host #24 Westwood.

Hopkinton improves to 18-4-0, Westwood Ends Season 13-8-1. Pavit Mehra netted 3 goals for the Hillers, Joe Scardino had 2 goals, Ryan Teitel had a goal and Pavit Mehra contributed 2 assists in the Hillers win.

Hopkinton next hosts TVL-Large rival Norwood in the Elite 8 on Wednesday, March 8th, 6pm at the New England Sports Center!
