Nearly all Hiller spring teams in action on Monday in TVL matchups!

Baseball: Hopkinton defeats Norwood 9 to 2 -The Hillers took down Norwood on the road, Nick Pedroli went 3 for 4 at the plate and hit a grand slam, Pedroli tallied 5 RBI’s & a run , Dylan Ruff went 3 for 5 with a run, Michael Sullivan went 3 for 4 with an RBI, Ryan Lang pitched 4 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits and struck out 6 hitters, Landon Fitzgibbon relieved and pitched 3 innings giving up 1 run on 1 hit in the Hillers dominant win. Hopkinton improves to 4 and 2, Norwood falls to 1 and 4

Softball: Norwood holds off Hopkinton 9 to 8 -The Norwood bats tally 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take a 9-7 lead and they did just enough to hold the Hopkinton bats to 1 run in the top of the 7th and held the 9-8 lead to hand the Hillers their first loss of the season in Norwood. Norwood Pitcher, Sarah Randall pitched all 7 innings and gave up 15 hits & all 8 Hiller runs but squeaked out the Mustangs victory. Hopkinton falls to 5 and 1, Norwood improves to 3 and 2

Boys Lacrosse: Hopkinton defeats Norton 18 to 2 – Anthony Nicolazzo and Roman Verna tallied their first career goals as the Hillers won big over Norton on the road! Hopkinton improves to 4 and 1, Norton falls to 1 and 6.

Girls Lacrosse: Hopkinton defeats Norton 22 to 7 – Live on HCAM, the Hillers outscored Norton 12 to 1 in the 2nd half to capture a dominant win over Norton. Hopkinton Sophomore, Lucie Mato tallied 6 goals in the Hiller victory. Hopkinton improves to 5 and 2, Norton falls to 1 and 5.

Boys Track & Field: Hopkinton defeats Holliston 84-52Hopkinton remains perfect improving to 3 and 0, Holliston falls to 1 and 2 on the season.

Girls Track & Field: Hopkinton defeats Holliston 75 to 61(Contributed) Hopkinton girls track & field faced a formidable Holliston High School team today and came out on top, 75-61. The Hillers have not lost a spring dual meet since 2001, so the team faces pressure to keep the streak alive. Though Holliston won many events, the Hillers swept both hurdle events and both relays and fought for many second and third place finishes. Senior Josie Hopkins won the 400 hurdles and the 100m hurdles, and placed second in long jump. Sophomore Bella Walkiewicz won the high jump and placed second in 400m hurdles. The Hillers 4x100m (freshman Clara Bransfield, and sophomores Sophie Rasul, Kaelyn Geremia, and Callie Owens), and 4x400m (Junior Chloe Tumbleton, senior Natalie Nguyen, junior Meaghan Burdulis, and sophomore Addie Morrissey) relays Bransfield also placed third in 100m hurdles, Rasul second in the javelin, Owens second in the 100m, and Tumbleton third in the mile. Senior Savannah Rivera won the javelin and junior Kaelyn Faber won the discus and took seventh in shot. Senior Bridgid Cavanaugh took second in the mile and third in the two mile. For Holliston Kaitlyn Quealy won the 400m, took second in high jump, and won the triple jump in a school record 36-09.50, Izabella Ross won the 100m, the 200m, and the long jump. Annabel Lynch won the 800m and the mile. Hopkinton improves to 3 and 0, Holliston falls to 2 and 1.

Boys Volleyball: Norton defeats Hopkinton 3 to 0 -Norton wins 1st set 25-14, 2nd set 25-11 and 3rd set 25-15 to complete the sweep over the Hillers. Norton improves to 3 and 4, Hillers fall to 2 and 5.

Girls Tennis: Hopkinton shuts out Norwood 5 to 0 -The Hopkinton Girls won 3rd straight match. Hillers improve to 5 and 2, Norwood falls to 1 and 4. Check out the latest Hopkinton Hillers highlights below!
