Indivisible MA Feminist Action Team, The Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee (HDTC), and concerned residents will jointly sponsor a peaceful protest on Saturday, June 28, 10 am to noon, on the north side of the Hopkinton Town Common.
The Indivisible theme is “Stop the Republican War on Women.” The HDTC theme is “We the People: When leaders fail, We the People will protect democracy and humanity.” All are invited. Participants should bring their favorite signs or flags relevant to either theme.
Both Indivisible and the HDTC are committed to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and respect the fact that this is a peaceful protest.
