It is with great pleasure that the Board of Health and I inform you that Kasey Mauro has accepted the position of Public Health Nurse for the Town of Hopkinton Health Department.

Kasey has over 7 years of professional experience as an oncology and intensive care nurse at the Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge and St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, respectively. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and holds certifications in telemetry, advanced cardiac and basic life support and chemotherapy/biotherapy infusion and has currently established a portal to schedule mobile/in home nursing services at https://www.picktime.com/healthyhopkinton. Through Kasey’s expertise, initiative and innovative approach, the Health Department is pleased to again provide public health nursing to the community.

The nursing program will continue to evolve as the Department receives its State and Federal certifications. Town staff and I congratulate Kasey on her hire and look forward to the health and wellness contributions she is certain to provide to the residents of Hopkinton.
