Ray E. Davis, 93, a longtime resident of Franklin, died October 2, 2026 at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick. His wife, Doris (Straight) Davis died in 2022.
Ray worked at Dennison Manufacturing Company for many years, and later at Stop and Shop. He served with the Army in Korea during the Korean War, later serving in the Marine Corp.
He is survived by his brother Peter Davis of Barton, VT and five stepchildren; Frederick Straight of Southborough, Richard Straight of Hopkinton, Carol Ryea of St. Alburg VT, Mildred Sosa of Fitchburg and Elizabeth Trudeau of Statesville, NC. He also leaves several step-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one stepchild, Ellie (Bell) Straight, who died in 2019.
A graveside service will be held October 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Callanan Cronin Funeral Home.
