Scouts helped out the Hopkinton Trails Club Saturday September 6th on a trail workday to build 120 feet of bridge at Berry Acres.
By engaging in hands-on conservation projects, Scouts develop a deep understanding of environmental responsibility and a passion for protecting nature.
The Trails Club members worked with the scouts showing them how to use levels, drills, measuring tapes and other equipment to construct the bridge. The adults and scouts worked in teams on different sections bringing it all together. It was an amazing three hours for Boy Scout Troop 4 Hopkinton!
