The Hoyt Foundation has been selected as a beneficiary of the Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program for the month of December.

The Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program, which launched in March 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

Team Hoyt & The Hoyt Foundation were selected as the December beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Shaw’s located 178 Main Street, Sturbridge MA. The Hoyt Foundation will receive a $1 donation every time the $3.00 GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag is purchased at this location during December, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are honored to be selected “said Russ Hoyt, President & CEO of The Hoyt Foundation. “The money provided allows us to offer Dick and Judy Hoyt “Yes You Can” Grants to families to support inclusion. Team Hoyt has raised funds and awareness since 1977. In 1989 the Hoyt Family, parents Dick and Judy along with sons Rick, Rob and Russ, formed the Hoyt Foundation. The Foundation is now in a position to give back by supporting families to provide opportunities for inclusion for their child with a disability the way Dick and Judy did for Rick. Families with a child with a disability can request grants from $5,000 to $25,000 to help their child be included alongside their non-disabled peers.”

The Hoyt Foundation is a nonprofit based in Holland, MA. Founded in 1989, Team Hoyt & The Hoyt Foundation support individuals with disabilities. Learn more about The Hoyt Foundation by visiting teamhoyt.com.
